As part of Transition Year Gaisce programme, Declan Cullen studied coding. He decided to put his new skills into practice by creating a TY website to display his work. He has done a great job showing the range of work he and his fellow students do during their Transition Year. Well done Declan.

Corbet Wilson flew the plane from Wales to Wexford on April 22nd, 1912.

The model was built by John Gerard Kehoe (Fifth Year) to mark the 100th anniversary of Wilson's flight.

The model has a 27 inch wingspan and is a scale replica of the original plane.

Report on the first flight: RTE News.

Congratulations to John and his teacher Mr Coleman.
